The eCompact was designed as a space saving compact instantaneous heater. It allows for flexible mounting options, with simple piping and installation, even with limited available space. As it is an instantaneous heater, no water storage is required, thus have zero standing heat loss. To prevent scalding, the temperature can be limited to 41 degree Celcius.

To maintain temperature stability and prevent cycling for maximum user comfort, the units can be installed with electronic thermostatic control.
